EI Associates was retained to design major renovations in the U.S. Military Academy’s main Band & Orchestra Building. The project involved creating new individualized practice rooms, small group instructional spaces, as well as complete renovations to the main Band practice facility.

Completely new acoustical treatments were provided in association with Ostergaard Associates, Acoustical Consultants. Major renovations to the HVAC system were provided including special provisions for noise reduction and the use of oversized ductwork to reduce air velocity. New lighting was provided throughout spaces, as well as new windows, roof repairs and upgrades to the fire and smoke alarm systems. The total project cost was $2.2M.
