Proponent Federal Credit Union was offered 3,050 sq.ft. of space in their sponsor’s newly renovated, on-campus office building for the relocation of their branch facility. The challenge was to develop an operationally efficient design that would convey their brand, promote the cross-selling of their products and services while meeting the sponsor’s building requirements and be compatible with their established quality image. EI Associates’ designer visited the credit union’s website to get an appreciation of the credit union’s brand and determine how to incorporate it into the design. The branch’s space and ceiling plan mirror the credit union’s logo. Elements of the logo are reflected in the color palette of the finishes, carpeting and the millwork design of the teller counter, the reception and waiting areas. The design conveys the credit union’s brand with an efficient, sophisticated and contemporary image.
