EI Associates, Architects & Engineers, a full-service architectural and engineering firm specializing in school design, announces the promotion of two team members from the firm’s Harrisburg office. Peter Ortiz, RA, was promoted to Senior Vice President, Director of Design and Adam Kerr, AIA, LEED® AP BD+C, NCARB, was promoted to Senior Vice President, Director of Operations. Peter has more than 30 years of experience in architectural design with expertise in educational design while Adam has over 20 years of experience in architectural design with a diversified portfolio of design work.
Peter Ortiz, RA joined EI Associates in 2013. He has been designing public schools for over 30 years and is an expert in the preparation of facilities studies, programming, schematic design, and design development which allows him to manage a project successfully from beginning to end. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
Adam Kerr, AIA, LEED® AP BD+C, NCARB is a registered architect in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia. He is a LEED® accredited professional and has over 20 years of experience designing a multitude of diverse buildings which includes educational facilities. Adam is directly involved with clients from beginning stages of projects initiating facility assessments and seeing projects through to the end while gleaning savings in areas such as energy and transportation. Adam graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture.
