The design included a major new entrance on the north side addressing student flow from the expanding campus and a large parking area. The department office area was relocated to occupy the second floor of the addition, adding to the scale and importance of this façade. The renovations also reorganized the functional uses and enhanced the aesthetics and building systems to equal its prominent location on campus. EI Associates and our consultants were awarded the 2008 Diamond Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania for this project.
