As Summit’s Architect-of-Record, EI Associates performed a comprehensive District-Wide assessment of all educational facilities in a one-month time frame to meet the state’s first round of Regular Operating District (ROD) grant applications. The assessments have resulted in the phased design of $30 million of phased ROD 1, 2 and 3 improvements, all of which have received 40% funded under New Jersey’s ROD Grant program. The improvements have been phased over a three-year period and comprise District-Wide boiler, unit ventilator and control system replacements, window and door replacements, roof replacements, auditorium renovations as well as site circulation improvements to address bus and car traffic and the design of a new Media Literacy Center.
