Currently, the Merck Employees Federal Credit Union offices are located inside their secured campus. To provide more convenient access to former company employees, as well as, current Members and their family who are not “on campus”, and for security reasons, a new free-standing branch was constructed just outside the campus.

The new building is a one-story structure reflecting the corporate image of the company’s Rahway site.  The facility is a full-service branch office, with the main entrance facing the corporate complex. The following Program Requirements are included in the new facility.

• Lobby, ATM, reception and Seating Area
• 4 teller stations, 2 Member Service Representatives, support areas to include a Teller’s proving/vault area off the teller’s line, Employees Lounge, etc.
• Drive-up Window Area
• Accommodate the relocated Members’ Financial Services
• Segregate the Member’s Financial Services Area from the Retail Area
• Multi-purpose Conference Room to seat 25 people

EI provided full Architectural/Engineering services for the project.
