Guy Cipriano

Mr. Cipriano is Director and Managing Principal. He has been with EI Associates since 1978 and has worked with every aspect of design, procurement and construction project management. On specific projects he personally serves as Principal-In-Charge with primary client interface. Mr. Cipriano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Princeton University. He also attended New Jersey Institute of Technology completing graduate studies in Industrial Engineering.

Tom Andrasz

Tom brings over 25 years of experience in developing strong client relationships through a commitment to delivering high-quality projects responsive to the client's needs and desires. Having previously served as EI's Senior Project Manager and Chief Architect, Tom has been involved in all phases of EI's design projects, from programming through construction and the coordination with all engineering disciplines. He is responsible for all business development and marketing for the firm and working with the senior staff to meet or exceed the firm's growth goals. Tom attended Lehigh University and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from NJ Institute of Technology. He joined EI in 1990.

Gary Bannan

Gary brings over 20 years experience with EI Associates as an Architect covers a variety of educational designs both K-12 and higher education. He acts as Architect and Project Manager for projects in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. Mr. Bannon also directs facility and demographic studies, evaluates funding and cost options, acts as a facilitator in the development of facility programs and needs assessment; prepares conceptual designs focusing on operational effectiveness, and conducts code evaluations for existing structures. He holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from the Pennsylvania State University.

James Hunter

James Hunter has over 30 years of experience in planning, design and project management which guides all of EI’s design assignments. He has full responsibility for the development of architectural and engineering projects from planning through construction administrations, as well as the coordination of EI’s in-house engineering disciplines for all projects. Mr. Hunter has been in responsible charge of significant projects of all types involving corporate, industrial, educational and institutional facilities.

Gordon Bickel

Gordon brings experience in building industrial/commercial facilities that is from "the ground up" and is a firm foundation for his leadership of EI's construction department. He has overall responsibility for the planning, scheduling, coordination, documentation and execution of all construction activities on EI projects. He also oversees preparation of all cost estimates for EI design and/or construction projects. In addition to his leadership role, Gordon's expertise and broad familiarity with construction practices in the NY/NJ metro region allows him to perform construction contractor progress/performance evaluation for third parties providing fair and accurate evaluations. Mr. Bickel attended the University of Maryland and joined EI in 1989.

Tim Cooper

Tim's responsibilities and experience include design, development of construction documents, construction administration, and project management. He supervises the project managers and their teams in all stages of design including schematic, design development, construction documents, and scheduling. He is experienced in analyzing and evaluating methods of construction for economy as well as ease of construction and suitability of products for integration into the building design. Tim holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Maryland.

William Haughey

Bill has over 35 years of project engineering, project management and construction management experience delivering Turnkey energy solutions to all of our clients. He is committed to providing our clients with energy conservation measures to reduce operating costs. He also has extensive experience in the food, pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetics industries. Bill is responsible for directing EI's energy group to assure that all projects are executed with high quality standards, on-time and within budget. Bill has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from Stevens Institute of Technology and completed the Management Development Program at Northeastern University.

James H. Major

Mr. Major brings over 30 years of experience focused on project management activities, and detailed engineering for corporations, industries and institutions of all types. He is in charge of managing client interface with our engineering groups, manpower planning, quality assurance and adherence to company standards. His strong commitment to understanding the needs of the client and providing quality solutions in a timely manner ensures successful projects and a high level of client satisfaction. Jim has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Leah Shiley

Mrs. Shiley joined EI Associates in 2004 and has over ten years experience in professional services marketing. Her responsibilities include helping to build and maintain client relationships. Mrs. Shiley earned a master's degree in business administration from Chatham University and a Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining EI Associates, Mrs. Shiley worked for one of Pennsylvania's largest law firms and a Fortune 50 corporation.

Bonnie Sowers

Bonnie's experience as an Architect covers a variety of planning and design projects for a variety of clients. Bonnie directs facility and demographic studies, evaluates funding and cost options, acts as a facilitator in the development of facility programs, campus planning, and needs assessments with community input, preparation of conceptual designs focusing on operational effectiveness, and conducts code evaluations for existing structures. Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Pennsylvania State University.

Bill VanWyk has 35 years of experience in architectural design.

Bill brings over 35 years of experience in architectural design and project management experience to the firm in business, pharmaceutical, chemical, and educational design. A seasoned architect, he assumes the role of Vice President-Architecture, where he oversees the planning, design and construction for projects at EI. His devotion to architecture motivates all team members and promotes clients' confidence, which results in successful projects. Bill has a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology from New York Institute of Technology. Bill joined EI in 1983.

Albert DiGuilio

Mr. DiGuilio has over 25 years of diverse industry experience. His experience includes executive leadership roles in several of the energy services industry's leading firms. He also has 20 years of experience on delivering Turnkey energy services projects and performance contracts for technologies ranging from lighting retrofits, large central plants and cogeneration facilities.

Mr. DiGuilio received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in Environmental Engineering and his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from NJIT.

Kyle Hanson

Mr. Hanson brings over 25 years of experience in Construction Management, Cost Estimating, Scheduling and Value Engineering. As Vice President of Construction, he has responsibility for managing all construction activities for the firm, to insure project completion as per the customer's requirements, under budget and on schedule. His vast experience in estimating allows cost tracking during execution of a project. His management experience ensures a well-coordinated project from pre-construction through all phases of construction up to project completion.

Amy Bomberger

Amy brings 17 years of business development and marketing architectural and engineering services to the firm. She assumes the role of Director of Client Development. In this role she builds and maintains client relationships (where listening to the needs, but more specifically the unarticulated needs, of our clients is key to a successful project), develops and implements business development and marketing plans, and manages all business development and marketing activities. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, with a concentration of Marketing from Messiah College in Grantham, PA. She joined EI in 2015.

Curt Sanders

Curt brings over 12 years of experience in sales, customer service, and leadership to the firm. He is responsible for business development and marketing functions for the Harrisburg office. His primary functions are to provide a world class experience for our clients, and expand the reach of EI Associates. Curt attended Central Pennsylvania College, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

Robert Paine

Robert brings more than 30 years experience in HVAC systems design with a focus in the design of specialized HVAC systems to maintain cGMP requirements for laboratories, clean rooms, manufacturing and packaging suites and support areas. As Vice President, Mechanical Engineering he is responsible and in charge of conceptual design through detailed engineering and construction of all heating, ventilating, plumbing, fire protection and compressed air systems.

Adam Caravaglia

Adam brings over 20 years of engineering design and construction experience. He recently served as Senior Mechanical Engineer at EI Associates, responsible for the lead engineering of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Leonard Morgan

Leonard is responsible for managing projects from design inception through schematic design, design development, and construction documents. His experience is wide ranging and includes several schools/universities, senior living/healthcare, commercial offices, hotels, retail, churches, multi-family, industrial and residential projects. Leonard works with the client to ensure a superior project that exceeds the owner's expectations, budget and schedule. His passion is great design, creative spaces, and creating an inspired learning environment.

Adam Kerr

Adam has been working in the architectural design industry for twenty (20) years. The majority of his experience includes both client leadership and project management activities. He has worked with client, consultants, team members, and various stakeholders to facilitate the design process in an effort to implement the client’s vision into a reality. He also works with the design and construction teams to coordinate the intricate aspects of design to ensure adherence to the client’s expectations. Adam has extensive experience in designing and managing public and private educational projects. In addition, Adam has also worked on a broad variety of other project types including higher education, recreational, residential, religious, cultural, industrial, and office.

Daniel Bierzonski

Dan is the Managing Principal of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania office. He has been with EI Associates for over 32 years and has been involved in all stages of project development including studies, construction drawings, bidding, and construction administration. Besides administrative duties his responsibilities include overseeing manpower dedication on all projects. Dan's experience and knowledge allows ease of transition between the various stages of design. He has direct interaction with project owners, officials, and communities. Dan holds a Bachelor's of Science in Structural Design and Construction as well as an Associate Degree of Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. He is registered to practice in PA and ME. Dan is a member of American Institute of Architects, United States Green Building Council, Pennsylvania Society of Architects, and the International Code Council. Dan has worked for EI Associates since 1985.

Robert Schuster

Robert has over 20 years professional experience as an architect, serving a broad range of clients including Creative Artists Agency, DreamWorks Pictures, Equity Office Properties, Latham & Watkins, Paramount Pictures Studio, Pennsylvania Department of General Services, Pennsylvania State University, Sony Pictures Studio and a number of Pennsylvania School Districts. He has also served as an adjunct instructor of architecture at Penn State, teaching second and third year Architectural Design Studio. Robert's primary responsibilities with EI Associates include serving as a project designer and architect, demonstrating knowledge of design principles, building codes and technical detailing, and contributing to the project team during the entire duration of the project from schematic design through construction administration and project closeout. Robert is an Architect licensed in the State of California and registered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Architecture with Distinction from the Pennsylvania State University.

Peter Ortiz

Peter has been designing educational facilities since 1990. He is experienced in all phases of a project, both large and small in scope, and manages the architectural and engineering team from feasibility study through construction close out. Peter takes a leadership role in solving problems encountered in the pre-construction phase as well as during construction. His strengths are in obtaining and translating the vision of his clients into the language of architecture. Consequently, his design process is client centered. Each of his education facility designs reflects the community from which it springs. Peter believes a project is a success when the client and occupants feel a sense of participation and ownership, in the design of the facility. Peter's employment commenced with EI Associates in 2014.

Jim Martin

Jim Martin is the Director of Production for the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania office. He brings over 25 years of experience in successfully managing projects. As Director of Production, Jim is responsible for all aspects of production of detailed contract documents, monitoring of budgets, assigning staff to projects, and maintaining each project's schedule. He also assists in the preparation of facility studies, code analysis, construction administration, new business development, and contract document administration. Jim's employment commenced with EI Associates in 1988.
