EI Associates Receives 2008 Diamond Honor Award
HERSHEY, PA - EI Associates, Harrisburg, Erdman Anthony and Millersville University of Pennsylvania have been selected to receive the 2008 Diamond Honor Award - Building & Technology Systems for the Wickersham Hall Renovation. On February 7, 2008, Gary Bannon of EI Associates accepted the award on behalf of EI Associates at Hotel Hershey in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Gary Bannon, Principal - in - Charge, and Vice President of the organization, oversaw the planning and design of Wickersham Hall.
Wichersham Hall, built in 1938, has housed many University Departments which ranged from Foreign Language to Computer Science. In 2001, Wichersham became solely occupied by the Department of Mathematics. The two story 25,000 square foot building received a new entrance and re-organized functional areas which enhanced the aesthetics and building systems.
The ACEC/PA is dedicated to business interests and profitability of related consulting engineering firms in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The goal of this organization is to provide the best interest of the public and clients. The Diamond Honor is the major award within the Building Systems category.
