Jeffrey Johnston, district superintendent, said the Bradford County Planning Commission gave approval to the project at its meeting this week.
He said the general contractor, W.G. Land Co. is set to start work on Monday, June 18.
Construction is expected to take approximately four and a half months. The target completion date is Oct. 31.
In an earlier interview, Andy Blaydon with EI Associates of Harrisburg, the architectural firm for the project, said the planned work involves the construction of a new track and football field in the area of the current "Warrior Bowl" area west of the elementary school.
Meanwhile, the current baseball field would be "re-oriented" with its outfield stretching toward the western portion of the site, he noted.
